What is a kitchen display system (KDS)?
A kitchen display system shows food orders (KOTs) on a screen in the kitchen instead of, or as well as, on paper. Cooks see what to make, for which table, and how long it has been waiting.
What screen do I need?
Any TV, monitor or tablet with a browser, connected to your restaurant Wi-Fi. No special hardware is needed.
Does the QPOS KDS cost extra?
No. The kitchen display is included in ₹9,999 a year, and you can add as many kitchen screens as you need.
Can I still print KOTs?
Yes. Each station can have a printer as well as a screen, so you can run both while staff get used to it.
Does it need internet?
No. The kitchen screen talks to your counter PC over the restaurant Wi-Fi.
