Does QPOS really work without internet?
Yes. QPOS runs on your counter PC and your restaurant Wi-Fi router. Billing, KOTs, the captain app, the kitchen screen, printing and reports all work with the internet switched off. Internet is only used if you choose to send a bill on WhatsApp or check the owner app from outside the restaurant.
Where is my data stored?
Only on your restaurant's PC. QPOS has no cloud database. The owner app reads data directly from your PC, end-to-end encrypted, and our relay server passes it along without storing anything.
What happens if my PC breaks?
QPOS backs up your data automatically every day and keeps 14 days of backups. You can also copy a backup to a pen drive. We restore it on the new PC for you.
What is included in ₹9,999 a year?
Everything: billing software for your PC, captain app, kitchen display, QPOS Owner app, all reports, stock, expenses, customers, installation, staff training, all updates, and phone and WhatsApp support. No extra charge per counter, phone or kitchen screen.
Which hardware do I need?
Any Windows 10 or 11 PC or laptop, a USB or network thermal printer (58 or 80 mm), and a Wi-Fi router. Captains use any Android phone. A second monitor can be used as a customer display.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Every new install runs free for 30 days with all features. Book a demo and we will install it for you.
Can I move from my current billing software?
Yes. You can import your menu and tables from a CSV or Excel file, and we help you set it up during installation.
Does it support GST?
Yes. GST per item, CGST and SGST split, service charge, rounding rules and GST reports are all built in.
